Golden Delight- chicken feet on the street
While we were at Golden Delight we noticed fresh hot chicken feet ready for eating to walk out the door. We both happen to enjoy the chewy, succulent and messy task of eating chicken feet and with these being ‘to go’ we had no choice but to find a spot and settle down to test them out.
Needless to say were were not disappointed. We got so into it and we are so messy that we knew we had to eat the chicken feet away from our clothing, leaning over our knees as you see Laszlo doing here. A few Chinese women walked by us and gave us a knowing look and some encouraging words as they watched the blond haired kid chow down on what the average American kid would perhaps not indulge.
By the time we were done we had stains below us on the pavement were the dark sauce dripped. We felt satisfied and as if the neighborhood had embraced us as we had it.
